Kenmare Development Projects (WCPA Upgrade Initiative)
WCPA and Early Works, Main Works for Nataka and Main Scope of Nataka Project. A SMPP FIDIC agreement for the provision and installation of a range of steel structures, including their mechanical parts, as well as HDPE and carbon steel piping.
The Challenge
Sustained multi-phase delivery on a live mining operation, integrating WCPA upgrades with the new Nataka ore zone development under a fixed-price FIDIC framework.
Our Solution
Phased SMPP execution model with dedicated supervision, in-country fabrication oversight and an integrated safety culture maintained across the full programme.
The Outcome
Achieved an outstanding 750,000 LTI-free hours, exceeding the initial target of 500,000 hours on this SMPP contract.
